Following consultations with the Jockey Club, Surrey Antiques are pleased to announce that we will be recommencing trading at Kempton Park Racecourse as of Tuesday 7th July. Due to restrictions currently in place, we have had to temporarily alter our usual schedule and format for both July and August 2020 and the revised dates are as follows:
JULY 2020 (amended dates & extra date added)
AUGUST 2020 (amended dates only)
At the time of writing, the plan is to operate as an ‘outdoor only’ event, but with the current situation being so fluid it is possible that nearer the time we may be able to adapt to include some indoor areas, if permitted to do so.
We will be publishing Covid-19 guidelines nearer to our opening date.
It’s over 39 years since our very first Sunbury Antiques Market at Kempton Park Racecourse took place in 1979 and thanks to the enduring dedication and enthusiasm of founder Sue Cruttenden we’ve gone from strength to strength, gradually evolving this family run business into the largest and longest running twice monthly market in the country and we are immensely proud to be recognised as one of Europe’s premier antiques markets.
Expansion to Sandown Park Racecourse was a logical step for us. It means we can offer both trade and the general public another great venue at attractive rates. Featuring stalls both inside and out, we’ll be maintaining our policy of ‘Free Admission & Free Parking to all Buyers’ to ensure we build on our success.
Keep an eye on our Social Media channels for news of latest events at both locations!
